Plasma Cutting Robot from Industrial Robotic Solutions
This video shows a sample of cutting flat plate with a Kuka plasma cutting robot. The plasma cutter used is a Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 151. We are holding .030 tolerances. Tighter tolerances can be held using a Kuka HA (High Aaccuracy) robot. We are also regulating torch height through the robot. A water bed is available (not shown in video) to capture dust and smoke. Hexapod Robot CNC Router
Just a bit of fun.. Using B.F. Hexapod as a pen plotter. DXF files are converted to translation moves and fed to the hexapod in sequence. The idea is to replace the pen with a small routing head, and then try to cut something! Routing resolution is pretty low, but you get the idea.

Plasma Cutting square tubing with Kuka robot and Thermal Dynamics Plasma Cutter
This video shows us cutting structural members for one of our Torchmate X CNC Plasma Cutting Tables. We manufacture, sell and use these plasma cutting robotic cells because of their ability to cut complex shapes into tubing that can not be accomplished on our CNC tables. It has the ability to cut any shape required into the tubing on multiple sides. This technology is invaluable to us and can be purchased for your shop relatively inexpensively. Visit http://www.industrialroboticsolutions.com or give us a call toll free at (866)571-1066 for details. We also manufacture and sell a full line of welding robots as well.
